The Power Of Balance Can Create Happiness And Success

Power of Balance was written to enlighten people on the precariousness of life and to help them achieve a balanced lifestyle. Midway through the book, I liked the way the author involves the reader into making a "Life's Scrapbook" to reflect and motivate the reader to achieve the required changes in life.

However, towards the later part of the book, the author's tone changes into that of a personal level where he plain and simply tells the reader the blunt reality of life and the effects of our actions. In this busy fast-pace world of technology and success, People work so hard in trying to achieve specific goals and aims in their life that they forget the purpose of their existence and often get out of balance. Through his impersonal and direct approach, the author captures the reality of life and triggers us to change for the better. These imbalances in life more often than not affect not only one aspect of our lives but, in fact have a knock on effect which affects the rest of our life.

The message of the book is simply that an imbalanced life will only give us a half-hearted and half-cooker success and happiness. It endeavours to empower us with a balanced self which we eventually need to expand outwards thereby harnessing the unlimited power of balance.

I completely agree with his thought-provoking ideas and indeed, when our life is completely balance, then happiness and success will follow. The author tries to emphasize the ideas he wants to come across through anecdotes and personal experiences that surprisingly reflects every facet that human life.
